Description:
202 stainless steel is one of the 200 series stainless steels. The national standard model is 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N. This is a stainless steel with low nickel content and high manganese content. Since it is a stainless steel developed to save nickel, its nickel content will be lower.Type 301 is an austenitic stainless steel with a nominal composition of 17 percent chromium and 7 percent nickel, which provides good strength and ductility when cold worked. It also has excellent corrosion resistance properties.Type 302 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that is available in the annealed and cold worked conditions. Type 302 is a higher carbon, earlier version of Type 304 stainless steel, and many 302 applications have switched to Type 304 with the improvements in melting technology.
